Welcome to the website of Biltmore Baptist Church. My name is Jim Clendenen and
I am the new Pastor here at Biltmore. Our vision here at Biltmore
is simply this... to be Christ to our world. We want to be living, breathing
extensions of the Lord Jesus Christ. The Bible tells us that "faith cometh by
hearing and hearing by the word of God." The problem today seems to be that
nobody wants to hear the word. We believe that if people experience the love of
Christ, they will be more apt to listen to the truth of Christ in the word of
God. This means we have to get outside the walls of the Church building and get
into the lives of the people God has given us to minister to. We are located in
the Paxon area on the corner of Edgewood Ave. and Norman E. Thagard Blvd. (5th
St.). We are already seeing lives changed to the Glory of God and we believe
this is just the beginning. Our worship services are a mixture of traditional
and contemporary music with the emphasis on Christ. Church is not for our
entertainment, it is for His worship and our edification. We invite you to come
and experience the presence of God for yourself. Service times are as follows:
Sunday school - 9:45 a.m.
Sunday morning worship - 10:45 a.m.
Sunday evening worship - 5:00 p.m.
Wednesday night service - 7:15 p.m.
